Tyler Jones (Rhino) Week 9

Hello again all,

Spring break was great even with a cold was good to get away and see my family.
Now I have been back to work at Rhino for a week and things are moving fast but slow on the release side of things. Not to many new releases compared to usual from what I am told.

Well I must say that the end of March is going to be fun we have two big releases.. Filter The Very Best Things, greatest hits package, and Queensryche 'American Soldier', an album compiled and written about soldiers stories ranging from WWII to now. I am doing the grassroots outreach again for Filter and this time I am deciding who will receive review copies and respond to all the interested websites. Most time in the past I would just forward the emails on and that would be it. This go around it is a lot of fun to get to work and do it on my own, a lot more hands on.

I also have been doing follow up on past release outreach, for Phish and Rod Stewart, I went to all the sites that we contacted and sent materials to. Follow up and see if they posted reviews or contests fro cd or what exactly. It was very rewarding to see what was posted....

Now that a new week is here, there will be continued work with Filter as well as a new album from The Dead - To Terrapin from May, 28 1977.
