Jesse Volk - Pangaea Entertainment Group - Week 11

Hi!

I have much to share this week. Long hours is the theme of my internship so far and with that comes great new experiences...

I've had a chance to learn about producing as well as sit in on the taping of our radio show, Passport Approved, and even had my name mentioned on air for my playlist pick of Florence and The Machine. Thanks Sat!

One of the coolest things about my time here is all of the great new music I've been exposed to which has even reignited my passion for discovering new stuff. And to top it off, we are working with a lot of cool artists right now that you might be hearing from in the not so distant future.

I've also got a chance to help set up and promote a few shows for some of our clients including a pretty sweet showcase of all New Zealand bands at the famous Viper Room. I have to say that going to shows to see new bands and meet new people has definitely been some of my most enjoyable experiences here so far.

Ahh...MUSEXPO! Four weeks to go so it's for sure crunch time. I have to say that it is really unbelievable how our small humble staff puts on huge reputable events like MUSEXPO. It really should'nt be possible!

good and well,

Jesse
