This week was pretty low key. A good number of the SPCO staff was on break, so it was very quiet at the office. My main duty was to hunt down a bunch of props for a kid concert coming up. It was fun and very relaxing since it didn't involve a ton of spread sheets or anything. Other than that, my time was spent on a long term research project.
Next week I'm meeting with the artistic director to learn more about the organization. I have a lot of questions for him about his job and how it relates to the overall operations. He is the go to guy for many departments. It seems like everyone from operations to development gets his word on most things. I hope it will be a valuable learining experiene.
