Jeremy Horvath-SPCO-week three

I'm finally feeling comfortable with my internship at the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.  I have a good understanding of how they operate.  They are a large non-profit organization and go about their business a little differently.  Everyone is very efficient with their jobs and tasks.  There is very little overlap with projects.  Each individual plays a crucial role to the operation as a whole.

This week my main project was focused of researching community education programs around the twin cities.  I will be trying to get information about upcoming SPCO events in neighborhood calenders.  This project was given to me by the women in charge of group sales and marketing.  I've enjoyed working on a variety of different projects thus far.

Next week I will be finishing up the research portion of the group sales project.  I will also be trying to locate some older recordings of the SPCO.  They're putting together a book of highlights of last 50 years and will be reviewing some older recordings.  I am in charge of hunting down some hard to find graphics.
