Jeremy Horvath-SPCO-Week 4

This week was a busy one.  There were many different projects going on and I had a hand in many of them.  I finished up my research project on local community education programs that the SPCO will be reaching out to.  It was strange to finish my part of the project and hand it off to someone else.  I'm use to seeing things through to the end.  It was hard to let go of an unfinished project.

This week I also took part in updating data in a software program that is vital to the SCPO.  The Patron's Edge is a program that we use to sample many different kinds data.  We can project sales for the upcoming season or compare passed events with future ones.  It was very interesting to see how they use this software.  Everyone from ticketing to operations uses it in their own way.  It is an important tool for this organization and I'm glad I'm starting to understand it's uses.  This will be a huge help in learning how a big organization like the SPCO runs so smoothly.
