Tyler Jones Rhino Week ??

Hello all,

I must say I have lost track of time and haven't posted for a bit and I apologize.. I feel horrible leaving you all in suspense.. I really don't remember if i did or not so here goes a update of the goings on.
It was 'fun' to have a day and a half off due to computer issues and not being able to do any work due to being denied access.. A mix up in paper work somewhere along the many trails that it takes, somehow had my internship ending 2 weeks early. Therefore my computer account login did not function. Frustrating but was fixable after many many calls to the "Helpdesk" aka outsourced IT department. Oh well life goes on.

I must say the last couple of weeks at Rhino were some of the best, and a bit sad.

My last 2 weeks as well as all my time at Rhino and WMG as a whole was amazing... Some great people work there. I would like to say that the releases have been doing very well an have been a blast to work on the Grassroots campaings for them. It was hard to walk out the doors on my last day.. I didn't want to leave, I still don't want to be done.

I didn't like it a first in L.A., I really liked Rhino, but it took me along time to adjust to what it is like in the city. It was busy, rude people, some really nice ones though. Traffic, nobody can drive or park a car apparently, they had a Valet at the bank. I laughed so hard when I saw that. It has grown on me quit a bit, not in my top 5 places to live but I can take it. I just head to a record store and all is right with the world.

UPDATE>>>>>>

The new Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath w/Dio) album I was able to do the Grassroots outreach for debuted at #8 on Billboard.. Tied for the highest for any Black Sabbath album.. YEAH!!!!!! Rock on!!!!

I also tallied and double checked all the past and current outreach to see if there was any site posting that I may have missed and I found a few and always get late ones that post a review or want to review a releaese a month after it has been out. As long as I can get some web presence for the release its all good..

I hope that everyone has enjoyed reading my blog and has gotten some helpful and enlightening info out of my semester at Rhino.. I would do it again in a hartbeat.. It helped to show me a side of the bussiness that is always behind the curtain. It has been an ammazing experience and a great amount of learning took place. I have alot to think about for my future plans and many tools to help implement them..

Thank you Rhino and the Carrer Center for all of this....

Take care and keep it snappy.
