Happy Mother's Day! Being in Los Angeles I can not be with my Mother today, however I called her to wish her the best of wishes on her special day. She is very happy for me though, being out here and coming closer to the end of my internship.
Speaking of, it has become a full fledged mad house at Society of Singers. And I Love It! With the event one week away from tomorrow, the pressure it on to make sure everything is in it's place and ready to go for the big show. With the phone ringing off the hook, fixing last minute details, calling to get names for guest lists, the days are flying by. I'm going to be staying later each day this week, just to make sure that the CEO and Director of Operations have less to worry about. And I can actually tell that they are already less stressed when I stay a step in front of them. I am very excited to see the end result and enjoy the 18th ELLA Award. A few people from the school, including Jack McNally himself, will be joining me at the ELLA Award to meet and greet with all of the other attendees.
On another note, my new roommate just arrived on Friday. He's a great guy who I feel is going to do great things with Alan Ett. Alan Ett is actually the man that got me my internship at SOS because he is on their Board of Directors. I look forward to meeting Alan as well at the ELLA.
Other then being extremely busy at work I have just been enjoying the California sun before I have to return back to Minnesota. Last week, WISH ME LUCK!
